Bernabé García called me and I got to know Obesitas Clinics through the internet, because I was looking for an alternative to the morbid obesity I was suffering from. After informing me of everything, I was recommended gastric bypass surgery and in 6 months I have lost 60 kilos. My obesity was never solved definitively, I tried all kinds of diets, either “miracle diets” type (you lose it soon, but then you take the double) or controlled diets, where in the long term I did get my purpose, I lost weight but in time the lost weight was very complicated.
Obesity was a big problem for me, especially because I always felt tired, did not sleep well and had anxiety problems among other things.

Before I had surgery I had depression and I was taking antidepressants and also blood pressure drugs because I had high blood pressure.

In addition to the problem of appearance, which did not value me and considered me a shy and introverted person, I did not sleep well, nor did I rest adequately, so I was exhausted, with no desire for anything. This, together with my hypertension and depression problems, made my life monotonous and meaningless. That’s when I decided to have surgery, the pre-op was a bit hard, especially the first week, I spent 21 days on diet shakes.

With the operation, I began my new life, I was hospitalized for 2 days, taking short walks around the hospital and from there, I started eating liquids, then semi-liquids, then pasty purees, followed by a soft diet until I finally arrived at the diet of normal consistency, which today I carry out but which is no longer a diet because like everything else, with some small excess.

I started doing sports, rides, biking, running and everything was getting better and better. I rested much better, I didn’t snore, I left antidepressants and medication for hypertension, I left behind that sad and lonely life I lived. Since I had surgery I feel more agile and much more dynamic, and I want to do things. On a psychological level I feel much more animated, I left the medication of antidepressants and high blood pressure.

Currently, I have not had surgery for 6 months and I have lost 60 kg. It was like being born again and starting a new life.

I encourage people who have doubts to have surgery at Clínica Obésitas, because it is a family of professionals and a very human team.

As you can see, I usually talk in the past and it’s only been 6 months since I had surgery, but everything is very far away. I would recommend this treatment to another person because it is a new life, you go from “living to eat” to “eating to live”.
