Hello, my name is Mª Teresa and I met Clínica Obésitas through an acquaintance. I became interested in treatments for my obesity because there came a point when I didn’t want to leave home, I felt lonely, displaced. Besides, I always had pains in my knees and got tired right away. For me, having to leave home eventually turned into a nightmare. Before the operation, I tried all kinds of diets from a very young age and none of them worked for me.

What made me decide to take this great step of gastric tube surgery at Clínica Obésitas was not being at ease with myself, and also when I spoke with Dr. Ferrer he gave me all the security I needed. After the operation, I now enjoy the food, but always taking care of my food, and not at all as uncomfortable in public. I eat what I can, period.

At present I have been operated for 1 year and I have lost more than 43 kg. He used to weigh 98 kg and now 54.6 kg. Thanks to this weight loss right now I am psychologically very well, wanting to go out, to do things. I don’t feel any pain in my knees or anywhere anymore.

I’m very satisfied with the operation. The pity was that I didn’t coincide before with someone who had undergone surgery so that they could advise me, otherwise I would have undergone surgery earlier. I am delighted, and I would recommend other people to have an operation, because the intervention changes your life completely. It changes your mood, but above all it improves your health. Now I feel like doing sport, I’m currently doing swimming and aqua gym and I’m doing very well.
